The National Marine Toys for Tots Program collects and distributes to MILLIONS of toys to less fortunate children, allowing them to experience the joy of Christmas and receive a message of hope that otherwise would not have been there.
Detachment #205 distributes over 16,000 toys annually to over 4,500 qualifying children in Cumberland and Salem Counties. Our annual collection drive begins on October 1st and ends a few days before Christmas.
Walk Of Fame. Memorial pavers are displayed at the Flag Circle in the front of the building. These pavers honor loved ones, both living and deceased who you want to be enshrined at our detachment and be remembered forever.

Color / Honor Guard is a polished detail that emulates the high standards and traditions of the United States Marine Corps.
The Detachment Color Guard presents colors at social events, celebrations, sporting events, church services, parades, and Veterans events.
The Honor Guard may present the Colors, but their main purpose is to present a contingent to bear honors at ceremonies or Marine Corps Veteran funerals.

Marine Rose - Started by Marine Eddie Gallagher from New York, designed to parallel the VFW "Poppy" program to provide funds for detachments to assist veterans and youth and provide other services to the community.
The Military Order of the Devil Dogs promotes good fellowship amongst the members of the different Marine Corps League Detachments. The Order provides amusement and entertainment at all gatherings of the League, when and where advisable, preserves and strengthens the principles and ideals of the League, and maintains true allegiance to the United States of America and its Constitution and laws. It fosters and extends American institutions of freedom and defends America against all enemies whatsoever. The Order is also very active in raising funds for different charities.

Regular Membership. Only persons who are serving or who have served honorably for not less than ninety (90) days in the Marine Corps and persons who are serving or who have served honorably in the Marine Corps Reserve and have earned no less than ninety (90) Reserve Retirement Credit Points shall be eligible. Navy Corpsman that have trained with Marine FMF units in excess of 90 days and earned the MC Device (claps) worn on the Service Ribbon and those who earn the Warfare Device authorized for FMF Corpsmen shall also be eligible for regular membership.
Associate Member. Individuals not qualified for regular membership may be accepted for associate membership. Associate members shall not vote on election of officers, or hold an elective office. Required dues are the same as a regular membership.
Honorary Member. The detachment may issue an honorary membership for extraordinary service to the nation, to the community, to the Marine Corps, or to the Marine.
